iControl has partnered with a water monitoring company to automate their line of water quality sensors. iControl products team with Hach Environmental’s DataSonde family of in situ water quality sensors to provide real time telemetry to remote locations at an affordable price. Service water installations for municipalities in Colorado have provided minute-by-minute data reliably since 2003 for just $10/month. Installations in Southern California are aiding scientists to uncover metropolitan impacts on the local ocean environment. In Northern California, iControl helps to recover bay habitat while preserving the local fishing industry with real time monitoring. The iControl collection device or iDAC, uses industry standard SDI-12 and MODBUS communication protocols to interface to the customer’s  instruments.
