WHILE ACHIEVING HIGHER QUALITY, PURER PRODUCTS
Hach Incorporated
is the premier provider of electronic water quality sensors. iControl
supports Hach Environmental DataSonde and LogoSense products for
remote water quality and weather station monitoring. Hach utilizes
iControl’s
iDAC to web enable their sensors for their customers’ remote access. Hach provides systems for state and local municipalities, waste water treatment facilities, universities, USGS, and the EPA. By web enabling their sensors, Hach customers can monitor their processes and verify water quality in real-time.
iControl supplies 60-second continuous
telemetry to Hach customers in Colorado cities, reporting Hach
PipeSonde samples in urban water supplies. Operating
continuously since June 2003, iControl produces the data for urban
water engineers to evaluate performance and safety parameters of the
water delivery system. Hach also utilizes iControl solutions for
wastewater monitoring in cooperation with Colorado State University,
as well as monitoring the weather and oceanic conditions via
buoy-mounted systems in Northern and Southern California.
In
2005, a live display kiosk is being installed for public viewing at
the Aquarium of the Pacific. Continuous data will be available to
Institute scientists, researchers at California State University-Long
Beach and local primary school students.
