As founder of iControl, Mr. Tubb leverages extensive experience in starting and managing high technology companies.
While at iControl, Mr. Tubb led the company from product concept, design, development, first sale, and ultimately profitable growth. In 1997, Mr. Tubb founded Octant Technologies Inc. As CEO of Octant Technologies -- a provider of custom control and simulation systems for the aerospace industry -- he achieved a profitable 30% growth rate and tenfold increase in net worth in just two years.
Prior to founding Octant Technologies, Mr. Tubb served as Vice President of the Advanced Systems Group at Integrated Systems Inc. (now WindRiver Systems), the established leader in embedded operating systems and advanced control system software generation tools. Mr. Tubb also has field experience in the oil and gas industry for Dresser Industries; advanced control system design for Martin Marietta Aerospace, and worked as a Research Associate for the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics.
Mr. Tubb holds advanced degrees in Mechanical and Control Systems Engineering from Texas A&M and University of Colorado - Boulder.
